Patron the Dog Sticker, All Proceeds for Charity

The ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict has produced an unlikely hero — a Jack Russell Terrier named Patron (@patron_dsns). The two-year-old dog is credited with detecting over 200 Russian explosives since the full scale Russian invasion began in February. Patron works closely with deminers to make Ukrainian cities safe again. In fact, on May 8, 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored Patron and his owner, Mykhailo Iliev, with a presidential medal for their service to the country.

To do my small part in helping those suffering in Ukraine, I am releasing this special edition sticker of Patron at work. All proceeds from the sale of the sticker will go to the Voices of Children Foundation, which focuses on ensuring psychological support to children traumatized by war. The organization provides art therapy, traveling psychologists, and evacuation assistance. They also have set up a storytelling project to share the stories of Ukrainian children growing up in a war zone. I have raised over $500 so far, and my goal is to raise at least $1000 to donate through the sales of this one sticker.
